Romulus. |

She retired as a therapy aide from Willard
Psychiatric Center after many years of service. She was very active
with the American Legion Post #463 Auxiliary, serving as president
twice. She always had beautiful flowerbeds at her home in Interlaken
before moving to Verona Village in Ovid. She would often greet
Halloween trick-or-treaters with her own costume on. Betty truly
enjoyed having her grandchildren and great grand children come to
visit her. She was a gentle little lady who could at time show her
“spunk”!
She is survived by her sons, Jimmie (Marcia) Bennett of Montour
Falls, and Dean (Jean) Potter of Canandaigua; grandchildren, Kevin,
Jerry, and Gary Carmell, Todd and Henry Bennett, Erin Updyke ,
Tammy, Christopher, Ryan and Samantha Potter, and several great
grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria in
2008 and by her seven siblings |
