Beverly J. Wyckoff, age 83, of Interlaken, went home to be with Christ at Highland Hospital in Rochester on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

The family will be present to receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Covert Funeral Home, 7199 So. Main Street, Ovid. Funeral services will be immediately follow at 10:30, at the funeral home, with Pastor Cory Eckstrom officiating. Prayers of committal will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Interlaken.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who wish to remember Beverly in the form of a contribution to kindly consider St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

Beverly was born in Caldwell, New Jersey on September 19, 1931, a daughter of the late Richard and Florence (Beardsley) Sager. She graduated from St. Luke’s in New York City as a Registered Nurse in March of 1952. She spent 43 years as a registered nurse and worked various places and held various positions including the Tompkins County Hospital emergency room and Senior Float Nurse, an operating room nurse for Dr. Yale and Dr. McKeen, and the Ithaca College Infirmary. In October of 1995 she retired from Willard Psychiatric Center as a nursing supervisor. Beverly was an active member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Sheldrake serving on various committees.

Beverly is survived by three sons, Pastor Kevin (Cindy) Wyckoff, Layne (Nettie) Wyckoff, and Brook (Cindy) Wyckoff; nine grandchildren, Jessica, John, Daniel, Timothy, Anna, Rachael, Olivia, Danielle, and Jeff; siblings, Jean (Robert) Fox and Cheryl (Arthur) Thompson; sisters in law, Barbara and Ester Sager; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John E. Wyckoff; and brothers, Richard “Ken” and Wayne Sager.
