On 16 November 1939, she married Jack Filson Frick and they resided at Rouseville until his death on 13 Feb 1949 at the age of 33, leaving Lucille a young widow with three young boys. Lucille married 27 January 1951, James Andrew Slike. They owned and operated a land conservation and pipe laying business. In 1961, a state contract relocated them from Pennsylvania to Ovid, New York with seven children. In 1963, they purchased the Gulf Fueling and Service Station in Ovid. She also worked as the bookkeeper for the Seneca Memorial Association and was the Town of Ovid tax collector for 35 years, retiring in 2009.
