Linnet K. (Iseley) McLaughlin

Linnet K. McLaughlin, age 45, of 2131 Chapman Street died on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Strong Hospital following a sudden cardiac event.

Linnet was born in Centereach, Long Island on May 8, 1977, the daughter of Edmund and Patricia (nee Greco) Iseley. The family moved to Willard in 1987, and Linnet graduated from South Seneca High School and attended CCC in Auburn. She was married to Howie McLaughlin on April 2, 2000 and they made their home in Ovid and started their family.

She is survived by her husband, Howie; children, Zoe and Ethan all of Ovid; her stepsons, Josh (Shaun) of Oswego and William (Kimberly) and their children, Isabella, Sophia, Colton and Mila Rae all of Ovid; her mother, Patricia Iseley of Romulus; a brother, E.D. (Mary) Iseley of Webster and their children, Nora and Owen; along with a large extended family and friends that crisscross the globe. Linnet was preceded in death by her father, Ed in 2017 and by her sister, Kimberly in 1999.

In Linnet’s true desire to be kind and giving, she was able to donate the gift of life through organ donation.  A celebration of her life, talents and gifts will be held at the Kuneytown Sportsmens Club, 3735 N Hoster Road, Seneca Falls, NY on Saturday, February 4th from 5:30pm until 10:00pm.  Kindly consider a donation in Linnet’s memory to the family through GoFundMe (search: Linnet McLaughlin).
