William T. "Bill" DeLong

William “Bill” Todd DeLong, age 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by family at his eldest daughter’s home on Saturday, June 25, 2022. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 7th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 Main Street, Ovid. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Bill’s memory to Ontario Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Road, Geneva, NY 14456.

Bill was born in Fort Lee, Virginia on April 24, 1962, the son of the late Frank Delong Jr. and Joyce Ballardini Personius. He graduated from South Seneca High School and joined the United States Navy in 1982 where he served his country as a construction mechanic for the Seabees until 1986. Bill had a wide skillset with past employment at Lakeside Nursing Home, Ithaca Bakery, and most recently Pioneer Printing. 

He is survived by his two daughters. Jasmine (Thomas) DeLong-Costantino and Kalishia (Andrew Parker) DeLong; two grandchildren, Arabella and Renee; siblings, Liane Delong, Norine Jarrell, Ray Delong and Jason Delong; mother of his children, Christina DeLong; and extended family.
