Anthony G. Alberico

ROMULUS-It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Anthony G. Alberico on October 24, 2025 in Geneva, New York.

Born on June 9, 1960, to Anthony and Winifred Alberico in Flushing Hospital, Queens, New York. After having three girls born into the family, Tony came along later in life after many prayers by our mother to Saint Gerard. He was the absolute pride of the family, the youngest, and was adored by his three sisters, Madaleine, Monica and Irene. Tony was a budding artist and photographer and followed his dream by graduating with a BA degree from Marist College in Fine Arts and continuing his studies at Columbia University. He was a free spirit, very artistic and musically inclined. He was an avid collector of metal rock band albums and artwork. At one point, he organized a band and played local gigs in the area and even participating in his love of wild and crazy dancing. The band would practice in the garage and became known as "Tony's Garage"! One of his favorite things in life was experimenting with food and creating the most delicious dishes for family and friends. He worked at many restaurants for years, exploring all the wonderful delicacies available. At one time, he dabbled with the idea of opening his own restaurant. Tony moved from Port Ewen, New York to Romulus, New York because of a job opportunity with NY State. The area proved to be his heaven on earth. Surrounded by Cayuga Lake, he loved every morning mist, sunrise, star lit sky and evening moon from his home. It was his paradise. He was an avid contributor to the Alzheimer's Association and the SPCA. His love of people and animals was immense.

He is survived by his family, Madaleine and Glenn Cole, Monica Alberico, Irene and Robert Maiolini, his nieces, Jennifer Cole, Sarah Cole and Bryan Fletcher, Alexandra Maiolini, Morgan Maiolini and Cody Maiolini, grandnephew, Atticus Fletcher and grandniece, Esme' Fletcher and many friends and relatives.
