Dawn L. Moore

Dawn L. Moore, age 80, of Interlaken, passed away at home on June 20, 2026. 

Born on May 8, 1946 in Ithaca, New York, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Gertrude (Joyce) Tuckerman. Dawn contributed her talents to several local establishments, including Jay's Soda Bar, Lackeys Restaurant, and O'Malley's, where she was appreciated for her gentle spirit. Later, Dawn served as the auction clerk for Moore's Auction Service.

Dawn found joy and relaxation in knitting. This cherished pastime brought her both comfort and pride; she lovingly crafted countless pieces until her multiple sclerosis made it too difficult to continue.

Dawn is survived by her children, Brian (Ines) Delong, Patrick (Betty) Delong, Pamela (Scott) Whitmore, and Dale (Kim) Delong; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia (Jerry) Palace. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lewis Moore; and brothers, Ralph, Chuck, and Arthur Tuckerman. 

In keeping with Dawn's wishes, there will be no services.
