G. Habalou Robert

Robert G. Habalou, age 72, passed away at his 2nd Street home on Monday, April 9, 2018.

Bob was born on September 25, 1945 at Sampson Naval Base in Romulus, a son of the late George and Rebecca (Brate) Habalou. He graduated from high school in Tonawanda, NY, and had worked at the Acme grocery store in Geneva, and then as a therapy aide at Willard Psychiatric Center.

He is survived by his children; Michael (Nancy) Habalou of Lockport, NY, Robert (Kyle) Habalou of Brooktondale, NY, Carole (Leo) Shaw of Morrisville, NC and John (Sarah) Habalou of Brooktondale, NY; his partner of 20 years, Carol Bond of Willard; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; his siblings, Ann Gaeth of Lawrenceville, GA, Jane Hawkins of Winnsboro, SC and Mark McLeod of Jacksonville, FL. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Habalou.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Lodi Point State Park pavilion on Saturday (August 11, 2018) beginning at 10 a.m. throughout the afternoon.
