Martin J. Pernesky

Martin J. Pernesky, age 74, born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 14, 1950 and passed away in Homosassa, FL, on May 16, 2025. . He will be immensely missed and laid to rest at NYS Veterans Cemetery- FLX in Romulus, NY.

Marty was a retired Army Sergeant, who specialized in aircraft engineering. He also retired from Kodak with four patents for his imagination, innovation, and initiative in proprietary technology. He was brilliant and an enthusiast of all things travel. Marty spent many years traveling the US in his RV while being the avid hunter he was. His smart, witty ways won't go relinquished. Marty volunteered at many of the local VFWs. 

He is a beloved son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend. Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Louella Pernesky, along with his children, Scott, Mark, and Wendi Pernesky. He is survived by his loving companion and travel partner, Donna Gibbs; brother, William; son, Wayne Crosby; and two daughters, KatyAnn Lipome and Kimberly Pernesky, along with twelve grandchildren: Krystal, Samantha, Cody, Ayla, Daniel, Nina, Amber, Olivia, Alyse, Emma, Chase, and Lauryn. 

A committal service with military honors will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 20, 2026 at NYS Veterans Cemetery-FLX in Romulus.
