Florence Patricia McMaken, age 89, of Parish Road, passed away at Beechtree Care Center in Ithaca, following a recent decline in health.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Ovid Federated Church, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider at donation in Pat❜s memory to the OFC Organ Fund, PO Box 340, Ovid, NY 14521

Pat was born in Detroit, MI on March 24, 1928, a daughter of the late Adolf and Isabella Sagert. She was a long time resident of the Detroit area, and after the death of her husband, she moved to be with her family. She had worked at the concession stands of the Joe Lewis Arena for many years.

Pat is survived by her children; Patricia (Nathan) Andrus of Ovid, Wayne (Kathy) McMaken of Dearborn, MI, Timothy (Claire) McMaken of Riverview, MI, and Sandra (Jody) Wiley of Lincoln Park, MI. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Donna (David) Lee of Dickson, TN, Brain McMaken and Kevin (Shonda) McMaken of Dearborn, MI, Joey (Alissa) Cushing and Kenny Cushing of Michigan, Patrick Jackson of Tennessee and Jennifer (Rob) Andrus-Doyle of NYC, and several great grandchildren, to include; Hunter and Karsyn Lee of Dickson, TN. Pat was the last of her generation and was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clarence Lewis McMaken.
