Robert G. "Bob" Snyder

Robert G. “Bob” Snyder, age 68, of Ovid passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, July 19, 2024.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 26, 2024 at West Lodi Cemetery in Lodi.

Bobby was born in Ithaca on February 18, 1956. He was a mountain man at heart becoming a jack of all trades, was an avid hunter of deer, turkey, and ducks, and raised several baby squirrels which he kept as pets. Bobby was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and partner who was thoughtful, a true jokester, and would offer anyone the shirt off his back.

Bobby is survived by his children, Christopher (Naomi) Snyder and Natalie Snyder; stepchildren, Jerica, Patrick, and James Luoma; six grandchildren; mother, Eliza “Sis” Everts; partner, Benita Steen; and siblings, Cathy (Dallis) Gable, Scott (Evania) Snyder, and Joe Snyder. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Snyder; wife, Patty Snyder; and brothers, John, Lawrence, and Daniel Snyder.
