Thomas H. Martz Sr.

Thomas H. Martz Sr. age 83, died at home in LaGrange, Georgia on March 1, 2026

He was a son of the late Harold and Vivian (nee Lathrop) Martz and was known by his family and friends at Tom, he retired from the US Army as a Staff Sergeant in 1979 after 20 years of service to his country.

He is survived by his daughters, Terri Taggert of Georgia and Tracey (David) Martz-Hoffman of Geneva, and many grand and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children, Tammy LaGeorge and Tommy Jr., his wife, Agnes, his siblings, Ted Martz and Patsy Hayward and his former wife, Nancy Kelsey.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Ovid Union Cemetery.
