Thomas W. Olsowske, age 80, died peacefully at his home on McGrane Road on Friday, October 3, 2025 and is now reunited with his wife of 54 years, Virginia.

Thomas was born in Seneca Falls on April 5, 1945, a son of the late Stuart and Ruth (Keefer) Olsowske. He started farming as a young boy and was a graduate of Romulus High School. Thomas had 40-year career as an owner/operator truck driver, mostly hauling steel up and down the East Coast. He was married to Virginia MacCheyne on July 18, 1969, and they made their home in Varick. He was a Founding Father of the MacDougall Sportsman’s Club where he enjoyed attending club functions, along with watching NASCAR, going to Canoga Sportsmen’s Club with his Uncle Bill and visiting his son Mike’s shop in Geneva.
He is survived by his children; Bethie (Paul) Wintermute, Mike (Michele) Olsowske, and Lisa (Todd) Ingalls; his five grandkids and their children, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia on July 4, 2023, and by his brother, Stuart.
