Glenn Walborn Obituary

Glenn E. Walborn, age 84, lifetime resident of Romulus, died at Geneva General Hospital on Monday, May 22, 2023 following a brief hospitalization.

Glenn was born in Romulus on September 29, 1938, the 8th of 10 children born to Howard and Edna (nee Updyke) Walborn.  He graduated from Romulus High School and then had a long career at the Seneca County Highway Department, holding the position of foreman for 23 years.  He was married to Eileen M. Allen on June 15, 1958, and together they made their home in Romulus, raising two daughters. He was a member of the Seneca Falls Elks Club, Romulus Fire Department and the South Seneca Sportsmen’s Club.  Following their retirement, Glenn and Eileen spent many winters in Pinellas Park, FL

He is survived by his wife of nearly 65 years, Eileen; his daughter, Laurie Walborn of Glendale, AZ; a granddaughter, Erica Morabito and her fiancé, Mitchell of Canandaigua, and his son in law, Mike Morabito of Waterloo, many nieces and nephews and extended family members.  Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Melanie Morabito in 2016 and by all of his siblings.

In accordance with Glenn’s wishes, there will be no services and his interment will be held privately. Kindly consider a donation in Glenn’s memory to the Mount Green Cemetery Association, PO Box 151, Romulus, NY 14541.
