William D. "Doug" Krom

William “Doug” Krom, age 74, died unexpectedly at the home of his daughter in Lodi on October 27, 2020.

Doug was born in Sharon, CT on June 15, 1946, the only son of the late William and Lillian Krom.  He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era from 1965 to 1967, and completed his reserve duties in 1984. He had worked in facilities maintenance in the Syracuse area for many years, until failing health forced his retirement.

He is survived by his children; Marcey (Robert) Jensen of Lodi, DJ Krom of Amber, NY and Jaime (Michael) Ciciarelli of Liverpool, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a sister Patricia Correll of Ohio.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 Main Street in Ovid.  Burial with military honors will be held privately in Paige Cemetery in Downsville, NY.
